About us
Rewind was founded in 2025, but the team is not new. We have built circular claims management together since 2012 — invented the concept, scaled it into an industry, and now rebuilt it with updated technology and full operational control.
The founder
Christian is a serial entrepreneur with 35 years of experience building companies in insurance, retail and property. In 2012, together with a colleague, he founded the company that went on to invent the concept of circular claims settlement. Together with Sweden's largest insurers, the team built an industry from the ground up — the company grew to SEK 220 million in revenue and won awards including Årets Återanvändare (Reuser of the Year), EY Entrepreneur of the Year (twice) and Årets Samhällsaktör (Social Contributor of the Year).
In parallel, Christian and the team helped launch IKEA's circular initiative at Retuna — both the operational model and the digital solution. Along the way, the team also developed classification systems for condition grading and sustainability-reporting models that are widely used across the industry today.
Christian stepped down as CEO in the autumn of 2023, after ten years. When the company subsequently went into bankruptcy in March 2025, the idea, the knowledge and the team remained intact. Rewind is the continuation — same team, same conviction, but with updated technology, a Nordic focus and full operational control.

Former military officer with several years in the circular claims management industry. Runs production with discipline and energy.
