Rewind

Investors

13 years of proof. A new platform. Nordic scale.

We are not in the middle of a funding round right now. But if you invest in sustainable finance, insurtech or the circular economy — and want to understand what we are building — we are happy to talk.

Our vision

What we do

We are building an infrastructure for circular claims management in the Nordics. Insurers and logistics companies pay us to reduce costs and fraud — and get measurable climate data for CSRD as a bonus.

Why we believe in it

We have done this before, from 2012 to 2023. We know which models work, we know which do not, and we know how to build the relationships with major insurers that take years to establish. With Rewind we are not starting from zero — we are starting from year 13.

Where we stand today

149,480 items back on the market. 136.2 tonnes of avoided CO₂e emissions (gross). Paying agreements with leading Nordic insurance and logistics companies — with Sweden as the operational base and the whole Nordic region within reach.

Market

SEK 1.3 billion — annually in the Nordics

Mobile phone claims via home insurance in the property insurance segment, split across the four Nordic countries. Sweden is where we operate today — the other three await the right partner agreement.

Sweden · where we operate today

The Swedish property insurance market is dominated by four major players that together cover ~90% (Folksam ~32%, Länsförsäkringar ~28%, IF ~16%, Trygg-Hansa ~14%). Home and house insurance accounted for 35% of all reported claims in 2020 (956,997 claims).

What makes Rewind different

A model built for the insurer's economics and CSRD reporting

  • Proven team

13 years of experience in circular claims settlement — the inventors of the model, not adopters.

  • 100% claims verification

Mandatory hand-in eliminates fraud at the root — before the claim is even handled.

  • Around 30% fewer payouts

Mandatory claims verification gives the customer a reassessment — nearly a third close the claim themselves before any payout is made. A direct cost saving.

  • CSRD-ready data

Verified avoided CO₂e emissions (gross) per category, quarterly — directly usable in partners' sustainability reporting.

  • Risk-free setup

No purchase costs for the insurer. We manage the processes and share the profit after deductions.

  • API-first architecture

A cloud-based, microservice-driven platform that integrates into partners' existing claims registration.

Opportunities ahead

The strategic window

Not a funding question — simply a picture of where we see the growth potential.

  • The Nordics

Tryg (Denmark) · Sampo (Finland) · Gjensidige (Norway). The model does not yet exist in a single one of the neighbouring countries.

  • Vertical expansion

More logistics companies, construction companies and property companies — the model is industry-agnostic wherever the claims flow looks the same.

  • Service development

AI support for claims verification, new categories of property claims, deeper sustainability data.
