Transport-damaged goods — back in use, not destroyed
Since Q2 2025, Rewind has received transport-damaged, unclaimed and misrouted goods from a leading Nordic logistics operator's terminals across Sweden. Around 33 tonnes of goods have been returned to use — a 97% reuse rate, instead of destruction.

Reuse rate
Tens of thousands of individual items have been sorted, condition-graded and returned to use since the start. The reuse rate is calculated as the share of reused goods (by weight) of all goods processed — the remainder has gone to certified recycling.

From Skåne in the south to northern Sweden. We receive goods from terminals across the country — major logistics hubs as well as regional nodes. Everything arrives at our warehouse in Staffanstorp for inventory.
From first delivery to full operation

The partnership began in Q2 2025 and quickly grew to nationwide operation. The model is operationally mature and replicable for other logistics operators.
For confidentiality reasons we do not publish per-site figures — partner-specific reports are delivered separately.
How the partnership works
From transport damage to the second-hand market
When goods are damaged in transit, go unclaimed or end up in the wrong place — crushed boxes, water or drop damage, broken seals — they cannot be sold as new. Previously, these goods went straight to destruction or recycling, because the recipient would not take delivery and the sender could not recover them in time.
Since Q2 2025, these goods are instead delivered to Rewind's warehouse in Staffanstorp. We receive, inventory and condition-grade every item, and decide its route:
- Reuse — if the item is intact or only the packaging is damaged. Sold on the second-hand market.
- Repair followed by reuse — when a minor fix is all that is needed.
- Recycling — the last resort when reuse is not possible. Only a small share of the volume ends up here.
Every item handled is registered in Rewind's case database with category, weight and decision path. The avoided climate impact is aggregated and reported quarterly to the partner — and included in the verified sustainability data we publish on our sustainability page.
